Resolution of DUTA Extended Executive of 10.4.2021 The DUTA Executive salutes teachers for their active participation in all the mass programmes decided in the meeting of 31.3.2021 for intensifying the movement to Save the 12 DU Colleges that are 100% funded by Delhi Government even despite the rising cases of COVID-19 in the city. The DUTA Executive takes note of the assurances given by the University Officials on 7 April in a meeting with the DUTA Office Bearers in which the Vice-Chancellor, Dean, Colleges and the Registrar were present. They reported on their meeting with Shri Manish Sisodia, Dy. CM and Minister of Education and reiterated the University’s opposition to the Delhi Government’s Pattern of Assistance document, the appointment of Sr. AOs in these colleges and the use of students’ societies funds to pay salaries and other dues of employees. As you are aware, the 5th December Record of Discussion, Clause 2 stipulates: "it is expected that all ad-hoc teachers worked or working in the current academic year shall be continued till recruitment of permanent faculty" . Appeal to SAs to mobilise for Jansamvad and Rally to MoE President/Secretary/Office Bearers Staff Association ______________ ______________ 2.4.2021 Dear colleagues, We salute the efforts of the Staff Associations in making the DUTA action programmes successful despite ongoing health crisis. We also thank Staff Associations for their feedback.  The Resolution of the DUTA Extended Executive of 31.3.2021 along with the poster for the 7 April Rally to MoE were emailed soon after the meeting and were also shared in the Official whatsapp group of Staff Associations.  We appeal to you to mobilise and participate in the action programmes listed for this week and make them successful.  Jan-Samvad, an outreach action programme in the constituency of Sh Arvind Kejriwal and Sh Manish Sisodia, is scheduled for 5 April 2021 and 9 April 2021 respectively .
