Dear colleagues.
We thank Staff Associations for their feedback. The following resolution was adopted in the meeting of the DUTA Extended Executive held on 20.3.21 through voting.
We appeal the Staff Associations to mobilise for the mass action programmes and to make the call for DU Shut Down successful.

Resolution of the DUTA Extended Executive
DUTA decides to continue with the Shut Down Strike call and intensify the agitation by launching more action programs until,
1. The Government of Delhi withdraws the 'Pattern of Assistance' document as it is in gross violation of act, statutes, ordinance, and EC resolution of the University of Delhi, hence ultra vires.
2. Delhi University calls an emergent Executive Council meeting to pass a resolution against this 'Pattern of Assistance' document that infringes upon the rules, regulations, structure of Delhi University by which the 12 constituent colleges are governed.
3. The appointment of Sr. AOs in 12 colleges is revoked as it is an illegal encroachment in the administrative structure of Delhi University colleges.
4. The Government of Delhi gives assurance in writing that grants-in-aid to these 12 colleges will not be delayed and insufficient/partial funds will not be released in future.
DUTA resolves to intensify action programs in the coming week and will organize:
1. Dharna at VC office on 23.3.2021
2. Rally to the residence of Chief Minister of Delhi Government on 24.3.2021
3. Call for decentralized Dharnas in all colleges/Metro station on 27.3.2021
The house urges the VC/UGC/MHRD to initiate the process of taking over these 12 colleges of DU which are 100% funded by Delhi Government.
