Subject: Regarding grants released to the 12 Colleges 100% funded by Delhi Government

Dear Madam/Sir,

As you know, the Directorate of Higher Education has released Sanction Orders yesterday, 25.3.2020 for the release of 3rd/ Final Installment of Grant-in-Aid to 12 Colleges 100% funded by Delhi Government, during the financial year 2019-2020.

It has been brought to our notice by colleagues that the grants sanctioned are merely enough to cover salaries of the past two months. If so, we request you take immediate steps to bring the facts to the notice of the Office of Sh. Manish Sisodia and the Directorate of Higher Education and request for adequate grants under sub-head GIA Salaries required to cover all pending dues including salaries, reimbursements and arrears due to employees on account of the 7th Pay Revision. Please also file requests for grants other than salaries for any other requirement that your College may have.

Please utilise the grants which you may receive as per the 25.3.2020 Sanction Order. Any delay in release of salaries and other dues to employees in these difficult times is inhuman. We, therefore, request to you to immediately release dues of all employees.

With regards,

Rajib Ray
President, DUTA

Rajinder Singh
Secretary, DUTA
