Dear Colleague,

We enclose the schedule for the forthcoming DUTA elections as recommended by the DUTA Executive in its meeting held on July 21, 2019 and approved by the Election Officer.

1. Please ensure that the complete list of names of teachers is  sent to the DUTA Office before 5.00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2019, along with DUTA subscription for 2017-19 of Rs. 480/- per teacher (ie Rs 20/- per month x 24 months) so that they can have the right to vote in the forthcoming DUTA Elections. Along with the hard copy of the list of names, please send the list in word document to duta.du@gmail.com.

Membership of DUTA is open to the following categories of teachers:

-          Teachers – permanent, temporary and ad-hoc

-     All Research Associates appointed by the Executive Council of the           University

-          Research Scientist of A, B, C (appointed by the UGC)

-     Professional Junior and above in the University Library System and          Librarians in the Colleges

-     Physical Education/Sports Council (Director & Asstt. Director)

-     Full time Doctors in WUS Health Centre

-     Faculty, Patel Chest Institute

-     Agro-Economics and Computer Centre (Programmer & Analysts)

-     Institute of Economic Growth

-     Hindi Medium Implementation Board (Director & Asstt. Director)

-     Academic Secretary and Director of CPDHE

-     Instructor (OMSP & Sericulture)

2. We also draw your particular attention to Note 4 of the enclosed Election Schedule:

For casting his/her vote, the voter must bring the Photo Identity Card issued by the Department/College/Institution or photo I-card on the DUTA format as a proof of identification

We would request you to ensure that all teachers in your College/Department are informed of the above-mentioned requirement.
