Sub:   Appeal to set up an enquiry into the serious charges against DU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Yogesh Tyagi

Dear Shri. Pokhriyal,

Please find enclosed our representation to the Hon’ble President of India and Visitor of the University of Delhi, Shri Ram Nath Kovindji, seeking his urgent intervention to institute an enquiry into the serious acts of commission and omission by Prof. Yogesh K. Tyagi, Vice-Chancellor of University of Delhi, since assuming office in March 2016.

As you will see from the White Paper, a copy of which is attached to this letter, Prof. Tyagi’s actions have pushed Delhi University, one of the premier Higher Educational Institutions of the country, into a deep morass. His continuation in office will jeopardize the lives and career of thousands of teachers, students and karmacharis of the University.

We urge you to intervene positively to prevent further damage to the reputation of Delhi University.

Thanking you,
Yours sincerely

Rajib Ray
