Sub: Urgent Appeal to complete process of formation of full governing bodies for all colleges

Dear Prof. Tyagi,
                                         
We are deeply disappointed that,  despite repeated appeals and reminders, the DU administration has been delaying the formation of full governing bodies in many DU colleges. We find no justification in the frivolous EC decision to delay the process by constituting a Committee for a purpose that could have been easily sorted out within a working week. Now, due to no fault of theirs, teachers and students of 28 Delhi Government-funded colleges are being forced to face a funds freeze.

Please consider this letter as an urgent appeal to complete the process at the earliest so that an unsavoury and embarassing situation can be avoided and the colleges can be immediately relieved from any hardship.
