Date: 26 . 05 .202 3 Press Release   DUTA held a Demonstration at VC office against the displacement of working adhoc teachers, University notifications on workload and for the release of EWS expansion teaching positions.   Hundreds of teachers participated in the Demonstration at VC office to oppose displacement of working adhoc teachers. Teachers protested against the University's decision for opening of Institutions from 8 am to 8 pm , increase the class size, tutorial and practical batch size, delay in s anction of additional teaching positions due to EWS expansion , d isplacement of adhoc/temporary teachers and NFS , discontinuation of adhoc appointments in colleges, d elay in Salaries, Pensions and Arrears in Colleges , a ppointments and fund cut problem in Delhi Govt Colleges . DUTA Office Bearers demanded a meeting with the Vice Chancellor to amicability resolve these issues, failing which DUTA will be compelled to launch a protracted struggle to get the above demands met.

Thousands of teachers of these colleges participated in the College-Wise Dharna to oppose displacement of working adhoc.
