DUTA demands immediate correction to the modalities of Reservation Roster and Filling up of post with Correct Roster The current modalities of implementation of 200 point reservation roster for the teaching posts were notified on 3 September 2013 by use of emergency powers by the then Vice Chancellor, Professor Dinesh Singh. The DUTA has since then maintained that the reservation roster is inherently faulty as it violates the DoPT Guidelines. The incorrect implementation of reservation roster became an important issue against Professor Dinesh Singh. The DUTA has repeatedly raised the issue of incorrect implementation of 200 point Reservation Roster at Delhi University with several agencies including the UGC, the MHRD, the Prime Minister and the Parliamentary Standing Committee for the Welfare of SCs & STs. Urgent Implementation of Correct Reservation Roster Prof. R.K. Kale, Chairperson, Monitoring Committee for Reservation Rosters, University of Delhi Dear Prof. Kale, This is with regard to the issue of implementing the Reservation Roster for SC/ST/OBC/PWD correctly as per GoI guidelines. As you know, Delhi University is in the process of starting the process of recruitment to fill thousands of posts lying vacant in the Colleges and University departments. The recent High Court order (W.P.(C) 1044/2001) of 23.12.2016 has laid down a timeline, according to which advertisements for the vacant posts are to be issued in January so that screening of the applications can begin on 10th February 2017. Moreover, all posts to be filled up are to be identified by 10th January 2016 and placed on the Reservation Roster before issuing the advertisements. The timeline further lays down that the selection process for the posts in the University departments is to be completed by
